There Is Never an Excuse to ignore High Blood Pressure

I used to thinkt that people in good health just had "healthy genes" and that daily habits didn't affect health very much. Due to that belief, when my doctor diagnosed me with high blood pressure and prescribed a medication to treat it, I didn't take it at first. I soon got a health "wake up call" when I began experiencing chest pains. My wife took me to the ER and, thankfully, they determined I wasn't having a heart attack, like I thought I was. The next day, I began taking my medication and living a healthier lifestyle. Soon, I was able to stop the medication due to my lifestyle changes, but I still monitor my blood pressure at home just to "stay on the safe side." I wanted to share my story to help others and plan to post many more health tips on my new blog.

3. It's Very Painful

Some people are reluctant to get coolsculpting because they think it's a painful procedure. Fortunately, this isn't true. In the beginning, you may feel an intense cold on your skin. However, once the area is numb, you shouldn't feel much at all and can relax.

4. You Will Instant Results

Whenever you get a cosmetic procedure, you naturally want to see results as soon as possible. However, with coolsculpting, you will see the results gradually. The majority of patients need several coolsculpting sessions to see drastic results.  However, if you are patient and trust the process, you will love the results after a few months.

5. Anyone Can Get Coolsculpting

Coolsculpting is not an ideal procedure for everyone. For example, the procedure is not a good idea for overweight individuals. Those who are overweight should get down to a healthy weight before considering this treatment. Coolsculpting also is not recommended for individuals with eating disorders, fibromyalgia, lymphedema or cryoglobulinemia. If you are not sure if you are a good candidate for this procedure, ask your doctor.
